UUCOC Rainbow Chalice Logo Welcome
If you are looking for a church that....
  • Encourages you to develop your own theology.
  • Belongs to the members alone, not to a diocese or a parish or a denomination.
  • Is open to all people.
  • Believes in preparing our children to cope with the complexities of modern living.
  • Has a long and proud heritage of teaching tolerance, supporting freedom, practicing compassion, being rational and seeking justice.
Then you owe it to yourself to learn more about the Unitarian Universalist Church of Oak Cliff. Come visit us every Sunday at 10 am.  Need Directions?

We explore many faiths, are genuinely interested in seeking truth and meaning in life, yet we honor the personal beliefs of each individual. We make it the kind of church we want because, as members, it is our church. We support one another regardless of gender, race, sexual orientation, disability, income or education. We teach our children how to make good decisions, what other people believe, to care about those who look, think or act differently than they do and to care about themselves and about those less fortunate than they are. Our church has Judeo-Christian roots and has grown out of the American experience. We are concerned about the quality of our lives and about the future for our children and our planet.

We are pleased to announce that in November 2005 we were officially recognized by the Unitarian Universalist Association (of congregations) as being a “Welcoming Congregation.” This means that the UUCOC underwent a voluntary effort to become more welcoming to gay, lesbian, bisexual and transgender individuals. The process involved a series of educational events, organizational assessment, and community outreach.

The Unitarian Universalist Church of Oak Cliff affirms and promotes the full participation of all persons in our activities and endeavors, including membership, programming, hiring, and the calling of religious professionals, without regard to race, color, gender, physical or mental challenge, sexual orientation, age, class, or national origin.

Welcome Visitors and Guests! Our Sunday worship services are richly spiritual. We hope you find them compassionate, encouraging, and transformative. We extend a warm invitation to you to visit often and hope you will help us get acquainted with you. Please feel free to contact our minister Rev. Mark Walz with any questions you may have.

The 2008 Labyrinth Walk Coffee House season is here!
